Abstract:

For generic periodic tight-binding Hamiltonians with matrix symbols, we establish a limiting absorption principle. We also investigate the resolvent behavior near van Hove singularities and Weyl points.

These results show how the local geometry of the energy bands and Fermi

surfaces influences the spectral properties of periodic lattice Hamiltonians
