Titel: Asymptotic properties of (stochastic processes on) large networks

Abstract: Networks are widely considered to be an important ingredient in modern
complex systems modeling. How can one describe the asymptotic properties
of large networks? What can be said about the asymptotic behavior of
stochastic processes on large networks? What is the effect of the
network evolution on the behavior of stochastic processes on it? We will
discuss some known results which should be helpful to answer these
questions. In particular, we will discuss the „law of large
numbers“-like results for large dense and some sparse networks.
